Job summary

Tech Rise in Rotterdam is seeking a product-minded Full-Stack Engineer to lead the building and scaling of climate tech products. You will own features from concept to production, within a small, experienced team, and influence both product strategy and engineering decisions.

The role requires Django backend and TypeScript/NextJS frontend expertise, with a passion for practical, impactful solutions that align with environmental goals.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are looking for a product-minded Full-Stack Engineer to take a leading role in building and scaling impactful climate tech products. This role is based in Rotterdam and operates on a flexible hybrid working model.

Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in backend development with Django.
• Solid experience with frontend development using TypeScript and NextJS.
• Proven track record of shipping production features end-to-end.
• A genuine interest in climate tech, sustainability, and making a positive environmental impact.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
