Job summary

MYLAPS Sports Timing is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to advance our timing solutions for athletes across motorsport and active sport domains.

You will work on Java backend with Spring Boot and Vue.js frontend, collaborating with iOS/Android QA and product teams to deliver accurate results. Occasional event visits help you understand the real-world impact of the software.

Qualifications

• Proven software development experience in Java with Spring Boot.
• Frontend development experience with Vue.js.
• Strong English communication, Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure athletes receive the most accurate results using MYLAPS technology.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team including iOS, Android, QA and Product Owner.
• Visit sporting events to understand the software in real-world use.

Full-Stack Developer (Results)

The role

Our Software Development team works on several products:

• Motorsports (Speedhive)
• Active Sports (Sporthive)
• New application & platform development

As a Full-Stack Developer you will get the chance to work on the software that delivers our athlete's there results for both the Motorized as the Active Sports domain.

What You'll Do

In this position you ensure that all our athletes get the most accurate results of their performance. Whether it is a triathlete, runner, cyclist or motor racer, our timing solutions ensure accurate results due to our advanced and reliable technology.

In this multidisciplinary team you will find colleagues with specializations in IOS, Android and Web development, as well as a QA Engineer working closely together with our Product Owner.

Since we like to understand what our software means to athletes and racers, this position offers the chance to visit small and large scale sporting events to fully understand the accuracy and meaning of our software.

What You Bring

• Software Development experience with Java and preferably Springboot.
• Front-end Development experience in Vue.js.
• Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Passion for technology and sport.
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure, is a bonus.
