Job summary

MYLAPS, based in Haarlem, Netherlands, seeks a Full-Stack Developer to advance our timing and sports platforms. You will contribute to backend services in Java/Spring Boot and frontend work with Vue.js to deliver precise results for athletes and events.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside IOS, Android, and QA specialists, and may visit events to observe software usage in action, ensuring reliable performance across domains.

Qualifications

• Software Development experience with Java and preferably Springboot.
• Front-end development experience in Vue.js.
• Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure, is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure athletes receive the most accurate results of their performance using timing solutions.
• Collaborate with IOS, Android, and Web development teams and QA engineers.
• Visit sporting events to understand the real-world application of the software.

The role

Our Software Development team works on several products:

- Motorsports (Speedhive)

- Active Sports (Sporthive)

As a Full-Stack Developer you will get the chance to work on the software that delivers our athlete's there results for both the Motorized as the Active Sports domain.

What You'll Do

In this position you ensure that all our athletes get the most accurate results of their performance. Whether it is a triathlete, runner, cyclist or motor racer, our timing solutions ensure accurate results due to our advanced and reliable technology.

In this multidisciplinary team you will find colleagues with specializations in IOS, Android and Web development, as well as a QA Engineer working closely together with our Product Owner.

Since we like to understand what our software means to athletes and racers, this position offers the chance to visit small and large scale sporting events to fully understand the accuracy and meaning of our software.

What You Bring

Software Development experience with Java and preferably Springboot.

Front-end Development experience in Vue.js.

Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

Passion for technology and sport.

Cloud experience, preferably Azure, is a bonus.
