Nedap in Groenlo, the Netherlands, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Business Automation & Tooling (BAT) team. This hybrid role (32–38 hours) focuses on building connected tools like My Nedap, HubSpot integrations, and automation that make colleagues and customers more efficient.

You will work across frontend and backend, design scalable solutions, review code, and explore new technologies with a team that values ownership, growth, and a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience as a Developer.
• Experience with or affinity for functional programming languages (Elixir, Erlang, Haskell, or Clojure).
• Familiar with Git and modern frontend/backend tooling (Elixir, Vue, HubSpot).
• Interest in business processes like support, onboarding, and offboarding and how tech can improve them.
• Focus on maintainable, extensible, and scalable code.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.

What are you going to do?

As a Full Stack Developer within Business Automation & Tooling (BAT), you develop applications that support Nedap colleagues and customers in their daily work. You are part of the Customer Related & Support Tooling team, which works on customer-facing and support tooling, technical HubSpot projects, automation, and integrations. Together, you build a Nedap where processes and systems are well connected and can grow with the organization.

One of the applications you will work on is My Nedap: the central environment for customers across different business units. You will also connect Nedap solutions to HubSpot and develop functionality that makes customer processes smarter and easier. Think of an integration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) for company information, or tooling that helps highlight relevant additional solutions during onboarding.

The role is varied. One moment, you may work with a UX designer on a new application, and the next, you may automate a process for colleagues within a business unit. You work across both the frontend and backend and think along about how solutions are designed technically and how they integrate with other systems. From time to time, you also contribute to broader projects within Business Automation & Tooling.

Your responsibilities

You develop solutions that make business processes more efficient and reduce manual work. You map existing and legacy solutions and translate them into maintainable, standardized, and scalable solutions.

You work across both the backend and frontend and contribute to technical architecture and system integrations. This allows you to build functional solutions that fit the processes they support.

You work in a structured way, thoroughly test your own work, and review pull requests from colleagues. You care about writing maintainable and extensible code.

You work with developers, UX, and other colleagues on solutions for colleagues and users. You explore new technologies and critically assess where they can add value to the way we work.

The team

As a Full Stack Developer, you work within the BAT team (Business Automation & Tooling) at Nedap in Foundry. Our goal is to support colleagues with smart tools and automation, giving them more time to make an impact. The team consists of a product owner, frontend developer, UX designer, and backend developers.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

• Experience with development: You have at least two years of professional experience as a Developer and have experience with, or an affinity for, functional programming languages (for example, Elixir, Erlang, Haskell, or Clojure).
• Technically skilled: You have experience with Git and are willing to work with technologies such as Elixir, Vue, and HubSpot. We work with Elixir, but you are also open to working with other programming languages used within Nedap.
• Interest in processes: You are curious about business processes such as support, upselling, onboarding, and offboarding, and want to understand how technology can improve these processes.
• Focus on quality: You care about building maintainable, extensible, and scalable solutions.
• Language skills: You have a good command of English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.

You are available for 32–38 hours per week. Hybrid working is common at Nedap, and you arrange your working hours together with your team to support a good work-life balance. Collaboration is important to us, so you live in the Netherlands and work from the campus in Groenlo at least two times a week.
