Nedap is seeking a Full Stack Developer for the Velos team in Groenlo. You’ll work on dairy-farming software, primarily on the front-end with some back-end work, ensuring reliability, security, and future-proofing of the platform.

As a Full Stack Developer on the Velos team, you’ll be working on software that makes day-to-day dairy farming smarter and more transparent. You’ll mainly be working on the front‑end and the associated back‑end, and will contribute to the reliability, security and further development of our platform. You’ll be given the freedom to explore new technologies, experiment and work with colleagues to build future‑proof solutions. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, developers, testers and other stakeholders both within and outside your team. Drawing on your expertise, you’ll take the initiative, make technical decisions and ensure these are actually implemented. You are able to tackle and resolve complex technical issues independently. In doing so, you ensure high‑quality software by thoroughly testing your work and actively prioritising reliability and security. At the same time, you actively seek collaboration and share your knowledge with colleagues. In this way, we work together to build a platform that operates reliably, both today and in the future.
You will work to enhance the reliability of our platform and actively identify areas where improvements are needed.
You will contribute to the security of our platform and ensure that technical improvements and updates are implemented with care.
You maintain frameworks, implement updates and contribute ideas on the technical development and future‑proofing of our products.
You work closely with other development teams and, where necessary, take the lead on technical issues that cut across teams.

You will become part of the Velos team, a close‑knit team comprising a Product Owner, testers and developers. Together, you will work on the software that forms the basis for gathering and interpreting insights about cows and monitoring processes on the dairy farm.
The work is varied. Among other things, you’ll process data from SmartTags, SmartFlow, separation stations and systems for locating cows in the barn. In this way, you’ll ensure that data from various sources is brought together into solutions that help dairy farmers make better decisions.
You won’t be working in isolation. Within Nedap, you’ll work closely with other development teams and share your knowledge and expertise. Together, we’ll continue to build reliable, scalable and future‑proof solutions for Livestock.
As a Full Stack Developer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 4.200 and € 5.200 gross per month based on full‑time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience. You are available for 32–38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) working is common practice at Nedap, and you will coordinate your working hours with your team to ensure a good work‑life balance. You will be present at our campus in Groenlo at least two to three times a week.
You are an experienced developer who enjoys delving into the details whilst still keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You find it fascinating to get to the bottom of complex technical issues and seek solutions that work not only today but also in the longer term. You take a pragmatic approach, think outside the box and take responsibility for what you build. At the same time, you actively seek to collaborate with colleagues, share your knowledge and are able to discuss technical topics clearly with various stakeholders.
