Albert Heijn is seeking a Frontend Engineer to advance our Promotions area within the Retail Business Platform. You’ll work on sales promotions and campaigns to benefit consumers, ensuring 24/7 uptime on mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in front-end engineering.
• 4–6 years with React.js and solid fundamentals.
• Experience with React Query for data fetching/state.
• Familiarity with Storybook for isolated UI components.
• Strong UI/UX sense and CSS/CSS-in-JS implementation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical architecture, standards, and guidelines.
• Develop scalable frontend solutions on a modern foundation.
• Create proofs of concept, write tests, ensure security and quality.
• Share expertise within the product cluster and broader platform.
• Collaborate as a valued team member and remove obstacles.
• Propose technical/process improvements with colleagues.
