Job summary

Siemens Software in Rotterdam (Mendix) is seeking a frontend-focused engineer to join the Intelligent UI team, shaping how customers build applications with Generative AI capabilities. You will craft intuitive web interfaces and collaborate with designers and PMs to deliver value.

Work is hybrid by default with health benefits and growth opportunities. The salary ranges from €60,000 to €75,000 annually, with eligibility for incentives, based on skills and education.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Experience with a Backend-for-Frontend architecture.
• Curious and able to work with Vue or Angular.
• Enjoy learning new technologies, using feedback to improve, and sharing knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency.

Join our team Join as part of the Intelligent UI team, where we work on creating the user experience for how our customers interact with our Generative AI capabilities. Shape customer productivity by enhancing and guiding the way they create applications on our platform.

What You'll Do:

• Create intuitive and engaging UX that will improve our customers productivity.

• Engage in short feedback cycles to break down complex challenges and develop practical, effective solutions.

• Take ownership of your work and give to team success.

• Closely collaborate with UX Designers and PM to find the best way to bring value to our customers.

What You'll Bring:

• Proficiency in building web applications using TypeScript and React Experience with a Backend-for-Frontend architecture.

• Curious or has worked on other frontend stacks like Vue or Angular.

• You enjoy learning new technologies, using feedback to improve your work, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a keen interest in employing them to improve efficiency.

• Thrive in a cross-functional environment, actively participating in discussions and knowledge sharing.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is €60,000- €75,000 annually and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
