Job description

Do you want to build software that directly controls real-world systems?

We are looking for a Junior/Mid-Level Frontend Developer (TypeScript) to help us build the interfaces that power autonomous drone operations.

This is a primarily frontend role (approx. 80%), with close collaboration with the backend team (currently consisting of 3 developers) and the opportunity to grow toward fullstack responsibilities over time.

As a Frontend Developer at Tective, you will:

• Own and build front-end applications that interface with real hardware systems
• Translate existing designs into scalable, maintainable front-end code
• Build reactive, asynchronous UIs using TypeScript
• Work closely with backend engineers to ensure clean API integrations
• Contribute to real-time systems used in operational environments
• Gradually expand your backend knowledge

Required:

• 2 - 3 years of professional software development experience
• Experience building reactive, asynchronous front-end applications

Framework Requirement:

• Experience with Svelte is strongly preferred.
• If you do not have Svelte experience, strong professional experience with Vue or React is required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Interest in backend systems or architecture
• Experience with real-time systems or hardware integration

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and sense of ownership
• Comfortable working independently in a startup environment

Working Model

• 24 - 40 hours per week
• On-site in Delft / Hybrid
• Must be able to commute to the Delft office when required
