Job summary

The Social Hub in The Hague is seeking a part-time Front Office Host to greet guests with warmth, guide arrivals and ensure smooth check-ins and payments.

You will manage lobby flow, share local tips and connect guests to events and experiences, while collaborating with Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance to keep operations lively and efficient.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hospitality or guest-facing experience.
• Demonstrates an energetic, welcoming vibe and ability to stay composed during busy periods.
• Comfortable using digital tools to assist guests (PMS, kiosks, messaging apps).
• Fluent in English and Dutch, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and set a great atmosphere from the start
• Assist with check-ins, payments and kiosk navigation
• Keep the lobby tidy, inviting and buzzing with the right energy
• Offer local recommendations and connect guests to events, restaurants and experiences
• Jump in with bookings for activities, restaurants and everything in between
• Share guest insights and feedback with the team to improve every stay
• Work closely with Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance to keep things running smoothly
• Represent TSH by promoting our outlets and spotting upsell opportunities

As a Front Office Host (part-time), you’re the first smile guests see and the person they remember long after they leave. You move effortlessly between the desk and the lobby, creating a space that feels energetic, friendly and easy to navigate. You share the best local tips, spark connections between guests and add those small touches that make a stay feel special.

• You’re great at switching between tasks without losing your smile
• You have a proactive mindset and love turning small moments into memorable ones
• You’re comfortable with digital tools like PMS, kiosks or guest messaging apps
• You communicate clearly in English and Dutch
• You’re a team player who stays cool and confident during busy peaks
