Job summary

C.H. Robinson is offering a 6-month internship in Rotterdam to support a seasonal project within the Robinson Fresh division. You will gain exposure to the fresh produce supply chain, compliance processes, and international trade while performing hands-on administrative tasks.

Initially onsite, with a move to a hybrid setup (approx. 3 days in the office) as you gain independence. Ideal for students in the final semester or recent graduates with an interest in supply chain and retail compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Driven, highly motivated and comfortable with administrative tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation from customers.
• Check pesticide information and quantities used.
• Review social accreditations, certifications and other compliance docs.
• Assess product lots against retailer requirements.
• Determine if products can be sold to retailers based on compliance.
• Follow up with farmers or suppliers on incomplete or unclear documentation.
• Collaborate with Rotterdam colleagues on daily operations.
• Gain hands-on experience in fresh produce, retail compliance and supply chain processes.
• Learn internal processes and systems used in a global logistics organization.
