Job summary

Sandvik Eindhoven is seeking a Freight System Analyst to optimise our global transportation network. You will bridge Freight Operations, Process Owners and IT to ensure accurate data, efficient systems and evolving business processes in a growing digital supply chain.

You will drive transportation planning, carrier management, freight settlement, and reporting, while supporting system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives across international teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, freight management or logistics systems.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems, preferably Blue Yonder TMS.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, carrier management and freight operations.
• Experience with SAP logistics or transportation processes.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for reporting and BI.
• Experience supporting system integrations and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as Super User for the Transportation Management System and support global Control Tower teams.
• Maintain transportation master data, carrier profiles and routing rules.

Freight System Analyst

Location: Eindhoven (Netherlands)

We are now looking for a Freight System Analyst to join our global Parts & Services Logistics team and help us drive excellence across our transportation and freight management network.

Job Purpose

In this role, you will support and optimize transportation systems, freight processes, and operational performance across our global logistics network. Acting as the bridge between Freight Operations, Process Owners and IT teams, you will help ensure our transportation systems operate efficiently, data remains accurate, and business processes evolve to meet the needs of a growing and increasingly digital supply chain.

You will play a key role in supporting transportation planning, carrier management, freight settlement, reporting and system integrations, while driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer service, operational efficiency and freight cost management.

The Role

As a Freight System Analyst, you will:

• Act as the Super User and subject matter expert for our Transportation Management System (Blue Yonder TMS), supporting Control Tower teams and Freight Leads globally.
• Maintain transportation master data, carrier profiles, routing rules, service levels and transportation parameters.
• Monitor system performance, investigate issues and coordinate solutions with Process and IT teams.
• Support transportation optimization initiatives aimed at improving service levels and reducing freight costs.
• Coordinate testing, validation and deployment of system enhancements and new functionality.
• Serve as a key expert for SAP transportation and freight-related processes.
• Ensure data consistency and integration between SAP, TMS, WMS and external carrier systems.
• Support troubleshooting activities and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Analyze transportation performance, carrier performance and freight spend to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain freight dashboards, KPI reporting and Power BI analytics.
• Act as the first point of contact for transportation system related questions and provide training and guidance to logistics users.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and global logistics transformation projects.

Your Profile

We are looking for a systems-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data and collaborating across functions and regions.

You have:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in transportation, freight management, logistics systems or supply chain operations.
• Experience working with Transportation Management Systems, preferably Blue Yonder TMS.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, carrier management and freight operations.
• Experience working with SAP, preferably within logistics or transportation processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• Experience supporting systems, integrations, process improvements or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Experience with ERP-TMS-WMS integrations.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience developing automated dashboards, KPI frameworks or operational reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting logistics operations in a global environment.
