Job summary

GEODIS Benelux in the Netherlands seeks a Warehouse Admin to coordinate and optimize transport across NL and EU. You will plan daily shipments, arrange inland transport, and select carriers to ensure timely delivery.

You will monitor lead times, track performance, and ensure warehousing and administration accuracy, while complying with customs/export/import regulations. A relevant MBO+ qualification and English fluency are required. Air Cargo Employee certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in an operational role in freight forwarding
• Knowledge of Warehousing, Planning and Warehouse administration
• Knowledge of customs, export/import processes and industry regulations
• Fluent in local language and English (read, spoken and written)
• VGB prior to the start of the employment which needs to be renewed every five years
• Air Cargo Employee certificate

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient planning for all transport within the NL and EU
• Making a daily planning of all shipments
• Arrange inland transportation
• Selection and screening of carriers and assessment on performance management
• Coordination and execution of truck and express shipments
• Follow-up on lead times of bookings
• Monitor quality
