Job summary

GEODIS Benelux is seeking a Warehouse Admin to oversee efficient transport planning across the Netherlands and EU and to create and monitor daily shipment plans, ensuring timely inland movements and smooth operations.

You will select and screen carriers, coordinate truck and express shipments, monitor booking lead times and quality, and ensure compliance with customs and industry regulations while using IT systems across freight forwarding activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an operational role in freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of Warehousing, Planning and Warehouse administration.
• Knowledge of customs, export/import processes and industry regulations.
• Effective use of IT systems used in the freight forwarding industry (operational, invoicing and company tools).
• Fluent in local language and English (read, spoken and written).
• VGB required before start and renewable every five years.
• Air Cargo Employee certificate

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient transport planning within NL and EU.
• Make daily planning of all shipments.
• Arrange inland transportation.
• Selection and screening of carriers and assess performance.
• Coordination and execution of truck and express shipments.
• Follow-up on lead times of bookings.
• Monitor quality
