You will dub and adapt 30-40 minute stories for Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube ads, test variations, and use data to improve CPI, retention, completion rate, and CTR. Collaboration with marketing and creative teams is essential to align with campaign goals.

Formación

• Fluent in Dutch and English; German a plus.
• 4+ years of professional copywriting/content creation with a focus on performance marketing or social ads.
• Proven track record of high-converting ad creatives.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven optimization experience.
• Deep understanding of the Dutch audience, culture, and media consumption.

We are a fast-growing audio series platform delivering captivating, immersive audio content. Our portfolio includes audio series spanning over 100 hours. To drive app installs, we run large-scale ad campaigns across Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a talented (Freelance) Promo / Content Writer (Performance Marketing) (m/f/d/x) who will play a pivotal role in creating and optimizing long-form ad scripts that engage and convert our target audience.

Role Overview

As a Promo / Content Writer, you will be responsible for dubbing, Adapting and creating 30-40 minute story scripts that capture attention, hook listeners, and drive conversions. Your primary focus will be crafting compelling pilot scripts for our shows to be used as advertisements that acquire new users for our app.

You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to continuously test, iterate, and optimize ad scripts based on performance data - aiming for high user retention, strong click-through rates (CTR), and low cost-per-install (CPI).

This role requires a deep understanding of the Dutch target audience, their interests, social media platforms, and performance marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Dubbing and Creating Compelling Long-Form Ad Content

• Adapting andCreating 30-40 minute story scripts for Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube ads
• Developing diverse thematic approaches to produce multiple attention-grabbing, high-retention scripts
• Dubbing multiple short and Long form assets, in a way which appeals highly to the local market
• Identifying the most engaging story elements from the audience’s perspective and translating them into high-converting scripts

Data-Driven Optimization & Iteration

• Identifying top-performing and underperforming narrative elements
• Running A/B tests to optimize creative variations
• Continuously optimizing content based on KPIs such as CPI, retention, completion rate, and CTR

Collaboration with Marketing & Creative Teams

• Collaborating closely with marketing to align content with overarching campaign goals
• Brainstorming with stakeholders to establish best practices for high-performing narratives

Audience-Centric Writing

• Tailoring tone, style, and messaging specifically for the Dutch market
• Monitoring current trends across Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube to create authentic, platform-native content

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English, German is a plus
• 4+ years of professional experience in copywriting or content creation, with a strong focus on performance marketing, social ads, or long-form content
• Proven track record of producing high-converting ad creatives
• Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven content optimization
• Deep understanding of the Dutch target audience, culture, and media consumption habits
• Excellent knowledge of current social media trends

Contract

• 2-month freelance contract with an option for extension based on performance
