Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality security policies, standards, and procedural documentation across multiple organizational levels.
- Structure and organize complex information into layered, easy-to-navigate documentation sets.
- Ensure audit readiness by aligning documentation with relevant controls and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Build a user-friendly, âlivingâ policy handbook or knowledge base rather than static documents.
- Collaborate closely with security teams, operations, and department leads to gather insights and validate requirements.
- Use AI-driven tools to enhance content quality and accuracy while critically evaluating outputs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Policy Writer, Information Security Consultant, or similar documentation-focused role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and structured documentation.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, audit processes, or compliance requirements strongly preferred.
- Skilled in researching, evaluating, and validating technical information.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with flexibility and international stakeholders.
- Contract type: Freelance (3 months initial)
- Start date: January 1st
- Extension: Possible based on performance and project needs
- Work setup: Hybrid, minimum 1 on-site day per week (2 days initially)
