Job summary

GEODIS in Venlo zoekt een gedreven Heftruckchauffeur voor fulltime werk in dagdienst. Je werkt grotendeels met een heftruck en zorgt dat goederen veilig en efficiënt door het magazijn bewegen en gereed zijn voor verzending.

Je voert taken uit zoals laden/lossen, pallets verplaatsen en goederen naar de juiste locaties brengen. Er is aandacht voor veiligheid, en er zijn groeikansen binnen de logistiek.

Qualifications

• Een geldig heftruckcertificaat is vereist.
• Ervaring als heftruckchauffeur is gewenst.
• Beschikbaarheid voor genoemde dagploegen.
• Veilig werken en veiligheidsregels naleven.
• Bereidheid om te helpen bij andere magazijnwerkzaamheden.
• Fysiek fit voor magazijnwerk.
• Graag VOG-aanvraag kunnen afleggen.
• Nederlands, Engels of Duits spreken.

Responsibilities

• Laad- en lossing van vrachtwagens met een heftruck.
• Pallets verplaatsen en opslaan.
• Goederen naar de juiste locaties brengen.
• Goederen controleren bij ontvangst en verzending.
• Beschadigde of onjuiste goederen melden.
• Veilig werken en werkplek schoonhouden.
• Helpen bij andere magazijnwerkzaamheden indien nodig.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Forklift Driver at GEODIS, you make sure goods are moved safely and efficiently around the warehouse. You mainly work with a forklift and help make sure products are stored and ready for shipment.

Je taken omvatten:

• Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift;
• Moving and storing pallets;
• Bringing goods to and from the correct locations;
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods;
• Reporting damaged or incorrect goods;
• Working safely and keeping your work area clean;
• Helping with other warehouse tasks when needed.

You work full-time in a fixed day shift, usually from 09:00 to 18:00. Once every three weeks, you start at 07:30 and work until 18:00.

Functie‑eisen

For this position, we are looking for a Forklift Driver who works safely and accurately.

• Have a valid forklift certificate;
• Have previous experience working as a forklift driver;
• Are available for the mentioned day shifts;
• Work safely and follow safety rules;
• Are willing to help with other warehouse tasks when needed;
• Are physically fit for warehouse work;
• Are able to apply for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct);
• Speak Dutch, English or German
