GEODIS is een internationale logistieke onderneming met een modern magazijn in Venlo. Je werkt in een professionele en internationale omgeving waar veiligheid, kwaliteit en teamwork centraal staan.

Via Start People krijg je goede ondersteuning en zijn er mogelijkheden om certificaten te halen en vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen. De combinatie van vaste dagdiensten met gegarandeerde uren biedt een stabiele baan met perspectief op een vast contract.

Qualifications

• Voldoe aan de vereiste heftruckcertificering.
• Ervaring als heftruckchauffeur is vereist.
• Beschikbaarheid voor genoemde dagdiensten.
• Veiligheidsregels strikt opvolgen en netjes werken.
• Kan cniviseren met andere magazijntaken en heeft een VOG.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens met een heftruck.
• Verplaatsen en opslaan van pallets in het magazijn.
• Goederen naar de juiste zones brengen en controleren.
• Schades melden en de werkomgeving schoon en veilig houden.
• Bijspringen bij andere magazijntaken indien nodig.

Wat je gaat doen

As a forklift driver at GEODIS, you make sure goods are moved safely and on time. Most of your working day, you will work with a forklift. You will load and unload trucks, move pallets and make sure goods are in the right place in the warehouse.

Your tasks include:

• Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift;
• Moving and storing pallets;
• Moving goods to and from different areas in the warehouse;
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods;
• Reporting damage or problems;
• Keeping your work area safe and clean;
• Helping with other warehouse tasks when needed.

You will work full-time in a fixed day shift, usually from 09:00 to 18:00. Once every three weeks, you will start at 07:30 and work until 18:00. This gives you a clear schedule, so you know when you are working.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an experienced forklift driver who works safely and carefully. You:

• Have a valid forklift certificate;
• Have experience as a forklift driver;
• Are available for the mentioned day shifts;
• Work carefully and follow safety rules;
• Are willing to help with other warehouse tasks when needed;
• Are physically able to do warehouse work;
• Can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG);
• Speak Dutch, English or German.
