Field Supervisor – Kitchen & Bathroom Specific (Foreman Level)

Job Summary
The Field Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day operations on job sites, ensuring remodeling projects are completed to specification, on time, and within budget. Acts as the primary on‑site authority, managing subcontractors, enforcing quality and safety standards, and communicating updates and issues directly to the Project Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Daily Job Site Oversight
- Open/close job sites and maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Verify trades are present and on schedule.
- Perform daily walk‑throughs, inspect progress, and submit updates to the Project Manager.
- Document daily activity and adjust plans per PM guidance.
- Provide hands‑on support when needed.
- Subcontractor Management
- Coordinate arrival/departure and task readiness of subcontractors.
- Confirm scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Hold subcontractors accountable; address minor issues directly and report larger challenges to PM.
- Ensure required materials are pre‑prepared and available.
- Client On‑Site Communication
- Serve as professional point of contact for homeowners.
- Handle questions calmly and provide updates.
- Report client concerns to PM promptly.
- Project Timeline & Schedule Support
- Track field work against the project schedule and update PM.
- Notify PM of delays, roadblocks, or scope changes.
- Prevent trade conflicts and suggest adjustments based on real‑time conditions.
- Quality Control
- Ensure craftsmanship meets PM standards.
- Conduct inspections before progressing to the next stage.
- Red‑line plans and document change orders.
- Capture photos for records and marketing.
- Avoid punch lists through diligent daily oversight.
- Accurately measure for kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.
- Material Handling & Inventory
- Confirm deliveries, inspect for damage, and verify inventory accuracy.
- Communicate material shortages or needs prior to project start.
- Return unused materials to warehouse as directed.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA compliance and job site safety standards.
- Ensure PPE usage among trades.
- Report incidents, injuries, or hazards immediately.
- Maintain signage and permit documentation.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Submit daily field reports and upload photos.
- Record site issues, weather delays, material needs, and trade performance.
- Track change orders and relay to PM.
- Report man hours daily via company cam.
- Tool & Equipment Oversight
- Monitor use and condition of company‑owned tools.
- Log tools in/out and assign responsibility.
- Notify PM of repair or replacement needs.
- Punch List & Close‑Out
- Create and track punch lists per PM request.
- Coordinate final trades for touch‑ups or fixes.
- Walk job with PM before final client walkthrough.
- Assist in collecting completion photos, warranties, or manuals.

- Clients (secondary contact)
- Internal office team (client experience & operations support)

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience.
- Prior team lead or foreman‑level experience preferred.
- Familiarity with safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
