JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full delivery of major construction projects, with a focus on hotels and office buildings. From the preparatory phase right through to handover, you will ensure that projects are carried out on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will lead the teams and maintain close contact with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

Your core responsibilities as a Project Manager include:

• Managing and coordinating construction projects from start to completion
• Monitoring schedules, budgets, quality and risks
• Leading project teams and subcontractors
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Drawing up and monitoring project schedules and reports
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the construction process

WHAT DO YOU BRING AS A PROJECT MANAGER?

As a Project Manager, you think in terms of solutions. You liaise with a wide range of people at various levels, so it is important that you have good interpersonal and communication skills.
In addition, you have:

• A completed HBO education in construction
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• You have strong problem-solving skills and you are results-oriented
• You are proactive, independent and decisive
• You have a good command of at least Dutch and English
