Job summary

Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is seeking an F&B Team Leader to guide daily service across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and events from the floor. You will mentor the team, ensure high service standards, and collaborate with kitchen and other departments to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, excellent English communication, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, ideally in a hotel or high-volume environment.
• Ready to take the first or next step into a leadership role.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to lead from the floor.
• Organised, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented mindset.

As a Food & Beverage Team Leader, you are at the heart of the operation, leading from the floor and ensuring every service moment runs smoothly. You support, guide, and motivate the team while delivering memorable guest experiences across all outlets. This role is key in ensuring consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and a positive team environment during both calm and high-volume periods.

Essential Requirements

• Passion for guest experience and teamwork
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands Preferred Requirements
• Experience supervising or guiding a team
• Familiarity with events, meetings, or banqueting operations is an advantage
• Knowledge of POS systems and operational procedures
• Dutch or any additional language is an advantage
• Commercial awareness and interest in driving F&B performance
