Hotelprofessionals - Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is seeking a Food and Beverage Management Intern. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on leadership experience while supporting the Food and Beverage Manager. The internship starts in September 2026 and is aligned with academic requirements.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a hospitality or hotel management programme and has strong communication skills in English. This full-time role ranges from operational support to enhancing guest satisfaction.

• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Availability for an internship of at least 5 months.
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food and Beverage Manager in daily operations across all outlets.
• Lead by example on the floor, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in coordinating restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations.
• Drive commercial performance by supporting upselling, promotions, and events.

As our Food and Beverage Management Intern, you gain insight and experience in the execution of managerial duties while working closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team. The wide variety of our Food and Beverage concepts gives you the opportunity to broaden your horizon as you contribute to daily operations, team coordination, and commercial performance, ensuring smooth service delivery and memorable guest experiences. This internship starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time learning experience for a minimum of 5 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food and Beverage Manager in daily operations across all outlets
• Lead by example on the floor, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction
• Assist in coordinating restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations
• Drive commercial performance by supporting upselling, promotions, and events
• Monitor service quality and ensure brand standards are consistently maintained
• Support team communication, shift organisation, and operational planning
• Assist with training and coaching team members
• Engage with guests, ensuring personalised and memorable experiences
• Take ownership of assigned projects to improve performance and guest satisfaction

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Passion for food, drinks, and guest service
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
• Availability for an internship of at least 5 months
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience or strong interest in Food and Beverage or hospitality
• Interest in management and leadership development
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Commercial awareness and interest in driving sales
• Dutch or any additional language is an advantage
