The Chemours Company in Dordrecht, NL, is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Process Engineer (FEP) to join our team. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the FEP production unit and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Technology to improve safety, quality and productivity.

You will lead process improvements, perform risk analyses, and support investments while working in a global, sustainability-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience in production or process engineering.
• Experience with polymerization processes, fluorochemicals, or reliability engineering is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with process safety (PSM), statistical process control, or data analysis is a plus.
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for malfunctions, modifications, and safety activities.
• Lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate technical reviews and safety analyses (PHAs, MOCs, PSSRs).
• Initiate and implement process changes to improve safety, quality and cost.
• Analyze process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support project proposals and investments for reliability and lifecycle cost reduction.
• Draft, review and improve procedures and technical documentation.
