Chemours Netherlands B.V. in Dordrecht is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Process Engineer (FEP) to join our international production environment, focusing on safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.

You will provide technical support, lead root-cause analyses, coordinate safety reviews, and implement process changes to enhance safety, quality and cost metrics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience in production or process engineering.
• Experience with polymerization processes, fluorochemicals, or reliability engineering is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in case of malfunctions, modifications, and process safety activities (PSM).
• Lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate technical reviews and safety analyses (PHAs, MOCs, PSSRs).
• Initiate and implement process changes aimed at improving safety, quality, sustainability, and/or reducing costs.
• Analyse process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support project proposals and investments to achieve maximum reliability and minimum life cycle costs.
• Draft, review, and improve procedures and technical documentation.

For our Manufacturing Technology team location Dordrecht, Chemours is looking for Process Engineer FEP. Do you want to make a difference in an innovative, international production environment where sustainability and collaboration are key? As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer within our FEP business, you will play a key role in improving one of Chemours' most advanced fluoropolymer production assets. Your work will directly contribute to safer operations, sustainable manufacturing, and products used in technologies that power the world's energy transition and semiconductor industry.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with process safety (PSM), statistical process control, or data analysis is a plus.

Salary range (in local currency): €62,080.00 - €90,000.00 Chemours Level: 23 Annual Bonus Target: 8%. The salary range and incentives mentioned above are intended as a general guideline based on the primary location of this position, and do not represent a guarantee of total compensation. Factors considered when making a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the role, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Performance-based pay is dependent on company results and individual performance and is subject to the terms of the specific plans.
