The Chemours Company in Dordrecht, NL, is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Process Engineer (FEP) to join our team. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the FEP production unit and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Technology to improve safety, quality and productivity.

You will lead process improvements, perform risk analyses, and support investments while working in a global, sustainability-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience in production or process engineering.
• Experience with polymerization processes, fluorochemicals, or reliability engineering is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with process safety (PSM), statistical process control, or data analysis is a plus.
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Process Engineer FEP

Do you want to make a difference in an innovative, international production environment where sustainability and collaboration are key? As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer within our FEP business, you will play a key role in improving one of Chemours' most advanced fluoropolymer production assets. Your work will directly contribute to safer operations, sustainable manufacturing, and products used in technologies that power the world's energy transition and semiconductor industry.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Technology Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our FEP production unit. You will work daily with colleagues from Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Technology to solve process issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to safety, quality, productivity, and sustainability.

Your main responsibilities :

• Provide technical support in case of malfunctions, modifications, and process safety activities (PSM).

• Lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement projects.

• Coordinate technical reviews and safety analyses (such as PHAs, MOCs, PSSRs).

• Initiate and implement process changes aimed at improving safety, quality, sustainability and/or reducing costs.

Annual Bonus Target: 8%
