Qualifications

• Degree in Finance and Accounting required; CPA/CFA in progress an asset.
• 3+ years in accounting/finance with fixed asset experience.
• Experience with journal entries, capitalization vs. expensing, and accrual accounting.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced functions (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS, IF).
• Strong understanding of finance, metrics, and reporting.
• Clear, concise communicator with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect lease information for active, inherited, or acquired leases and related obligations.
• Participate in period-end close and liaise with accounting to ensure proper close.
• Prepare variance reports and leadership reporting packages.
• Analyze data and report on performance metrics internally.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises including P&L analysis.
• Support operations in planning and decision making with lease/asset insights.
