Job summary

Five Guys International is seeking a Shift Leader in Utrecht, Netherlands. You will lead shifts, motivate crew members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences with a focus on service quality and food safety. Training is provided to grow with the internationally recognised brand.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Hospitality, retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Dutch and/or English speaking.
• BHV certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team during your shift.
• Coach and train Crew Members to maintain service standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
• Manage workflows, breaks and shift handovers.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for ensuring shifts run smoothly while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You'll:

• Assist in leading and motivating the team during your shift.

• Support, coach, and train Crew Members

• Ensure excellent customer service and food quality

• Manage workflows, breaks, and shift handovers

• Maintain food safety and health & safety standards

• Step in for the management team when required

• Help create a positive and energetic team culture

You'll also be fully trained across all restaurant stations, including grill, fries, cashier, and customer service.

What We're Looking For

• You are 18 years or older

• Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience

• Natural leadership skills and a hands-on attitude

• Strong communication skills

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

• Dutch and/or English speaking

• BHV certificate or willingness to obtain one
