Job summary

MPT Consultancy is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager for one of our clients: an international online flower marketplace connecting growers in South America with businesses across the globe. You will own the bookkeeping, the financial control and the commercial finance.

This is a fast-growing scale-up with double-digit growth. The role requires hands-on operational bookkeeping, monthly reporting, and close collaboration with the CFO.

• Fluent English; Dutch a plus.

Are you ready to build a finance function instead of inheriting one? MPT Consultancy is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager for one of our clients: an international online flower marketplace connecting growers in South America with businesses across the globe. You will own the bookkeeping, the financial control and the commercial finance.

Be aware: this is a fast growing scale-up. Double digit growth over the last years, and no sign of it slowing down.

This role requires hands-on operational bookkeeping experience.

What you will do

• Own the bookkeeping, the month-end close and the reconciliations (Hands-on operational bookkeeping experience is required)
• Deliver monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting
• Run the 13-week cash-flow forecast and control payment timing
• Coordinate VAT, payroll tax and year-end for the Dutch BV and the US LLC
• Automate the repetitive work with AI and better integrations
• Build the management reporting, the rolling forecast and the budget

What you bring

• 5+ years in finance with substantial hands-on bookkeeping and financial control
• Bachelor or Master degree in finance, accounting or business economics
• Strong on reconciliations, month-end close, budgets and cash-flow forecasting
• Practical experience improving or automating finance processes
• Professional fluency in English. Dutch is a plus
• Enthusiastic AI user

• International marketplace, e-commerce or scale-up experience
• US entities or intercompany accounting
