Job summary

Optiver is seeking an accounting professional to strengthen the close, reporting, and governance processes within a fast-paced finance team. The role emphasizes technical accounting, IFRS reporting, and driving improvements through tooling and AI-enabled workflows.

You’ll partner with multiple entities, design closed-loop controls, and push for end-to-end process improvements across accounting, reporting, and finance operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 1–2 years post-qualification in corporate accounting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance or accounting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close and IFRS reporting for multiple entities.
• Design and operate repeatable workflows via policy-based configuration.
• Prepare management reports and explain P&L movements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors.
• Build internal controls into workflows and documentation.
• Identify automation opportunities using data/tools/AI.
