Job summary

The Financial Controller role is a permanent position based in the Netherlands (east of Hogeveen). You will combine financial oversight with business partnering for the operational teams to provide insights, supervise accounting, and ensure compliance with Dutch regulations.

You will support budgeting and forecasting, work with ERP systems, and drive accurate financial reporting. Fluent Dutch and English are required; 3+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of Dutch laws strengthen

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience in offshore/energy sectors preferred but not essential.

The client operates in the offshore engineering industry. It is an offshore EPIC company that primarily operates in the energy sector and is known for its experience in collaborating with stakeholders from various business functions.

In this role, you will combine financial oversight with acting as a business partner. You will work closely with the operational teams to provide financial insights, oversee accounting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with Dutch regulations.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations
• Experience with ERP systems
