Job summary

Prime Vision invites a Finance Transformation & Financial Reporting Intern to modernize external reporting and consolidation processes. You will work closely with the Finance Manager on a project to improve reporting accuracy, automate notes, and support audit readiness in an international business setting.

You will gain hands-on experience with Dutch GAAP and IFRS principles, Oracle NetSuite, and data analytics, while contributing to strategic finance initiatives and potential future employment

Prime Vision is looking for a Finance Transformation & Financial Reporting Intern to help modernize our annual reporting and consolidation process. The internship combines financial reporting, consolidation, audit readiness, data analytics and automation in a real-world international business environment.

Location: Delft, The Netherlands

Duration: Preferably 6–8 months, due to completion of the 2026 audit cycle (Bachelor's or Master's internship)

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s level (HBO/WO) in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, Accountancy, Controlling, Business Analytics or a related field.

At Prime Vision, you will not spend your internship performing routine administrative tasks. Instead, you will participate in strategic finance projects that directly support management decision-making, annual reporting, audit processes, and the further professionalization of our finance function.

Your Assignment

As a Finance Transformation & Financial Reporting Intern, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and Financial Controller on a project to modernize and automate Prime Vision’s external financial reporting and consolidation process.

The objective is to create a robust reporting environment that can generate consolidated financial statements, management commentary, and audit documentation efficiently and accurately.

Your Responsibilities

Annual Report Preparation

• Prepare the annual report in Microsoft Word.
• Draft and maintain the Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) section.
• Prepare financial statements and accompanying disclosures.
• Update and automate note disclosures where possible.
• Ensure consistency between management commentary and financial statements.
• Design and build a consolidation workbook for Prime Vision's legal entities.
• Reconcile consolidated figures with Oracle NetSuite, Prime Vision’s ERP system.
• Create automated mapping between trial balances and financial statements.
• Design elimination entries and consolidation adjustments.
• Develop reconciliation controls and audit trails.

Audit Support & Financial Control

• Track audit adjustments and proposed journal entries.
• Analyse audit differences and their impact on reported results.
• Build dashboards showing reconciliation status and open audit items.
• Support preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.

Finance Automation & Process Improvement

• Develop Excel- and Power Query-based reporting solutions.
• Investigate opportunities to connect Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Query and Oracle NetSuite.
• Build automated note generation and document update processes.
• Reduce manual reporting effort through smart reporting templates.

Data Analytics

• Analyse financial and operational data.
• Support monthly reporting and management presentations.
• Develop KPI dashboards and financial performance analyses.
• Assist in improving reporting quality and reliability.

What You Will Learn

You are:

• Studying at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (HBO/WO) in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics, Controlling or a related field.
• Interested in financial reporting, consolidation and automation.
• Strong in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
• Analytical, structured and detail‑oriented.
• Curious about technology and process improvement.
• Able to communicate professionally in English. Dutch is an advantage.
