Job summary

Alter Domus in Amsterdam is seeking an Corporate Services Accounting Officer to support clients with holding, financing and real estate entities. You will help implement structures, maintain strong relationships and ensure accurate bookkeeping and reporting.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate payments, prepare statutory financial statements, liaise with auditors, tax advisors and authorities, while contributing to process improvements and regulatory compliance in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Fluent in Dutch with good English communication.
• Experience in client-focused accounting environments (0-3 years).
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and financial reporting basics.
• Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients in implementing and optimizing holding, financing and real estate companies and building relationships with clients.
• Handling day-to-day operations and responding to client requests.
• Responsible for the bookkeeping of a number of companies.
• Responsible for financial reporting, including cash flow management.
• Preparing and coordinating payments and monitoring transactions.
• Preparing statutory financial statements and liaising with auditors.
• Maintaining contacts with property managers, asset managers, tax advisors, lawyers, etc.
• Assist with preparing corporate and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with tax authorities and tax advisers.
• Taking part in restructuring plans or other transactions in line with local regulatory body, including spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions.

• You have a strong client‑oriented mindset and a good capacity to build relationships with clients and colleagues;
• You are able to organise, prioritise and manage your work effectively;
