Job summary

WINK is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day Finance operation, bridging the Finance team and CFO. You will unify Accounting, Financial Control and Project Control into a cohesive chain, ensuring accurate numbers, solid processes, and clear financial guidance for decision-making.

You will oversee monthly closes, reporting packages, working capital, and liquidity while supporting Wink’s international growth in a hybrid Amsterdam-based role with direct exposure to external accountants

Qualifications

• HBO+ or WO level in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or comparable field.
• 5–7 years in Financial Control, Finance Management or similar leadership role.
• Proven track record in leading and developing a Finance team.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, close processes and internal controls.
• Experience with working capital and cash flow management.
• Experience in a project-driven organisation.
• Knowledge of project economics and project-based financial management.
• Hands-on with time-registration and project administration systems.
• Hands-on experience with Exact accounting software.
• Comfortable operating in international or multi-currency environments.
• Strong leadership, ownership, and escalation skills.
• Native-level Dutch and strong professional English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Finance operation across Accounting, Financial Control and Project Control.
• Set priorities and create clarity within a lean Finance team.
• Coordinate monthly close and ensure deadlines and quality.
• Own the quality and timeliness of reporting before CFO.
• Ensure accurate reporting across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Monitor performance against budget and explain deviations.
• Manage working capital across receivables, payables and WIP.
• Maintain liquidity review with CFO on a weekly basis.
• Coach and develop the Finance team and ensure back-up coverage.
• Support international growth with multi-country/currency handling.
