Job summary

eyeo is seeking a Finance Manager to join our growing team at High Tech Campus Eindhoven. You will work closely with the CFO to shape the finance foundation and support strategic topics as eyeo scales.

The role covers accounting across the Netherlands and Belgium, month-end close, tax compliance, reporting, budgeting and investor materials, with opportunities to impact process design and ERP evolution in a ground‑up environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or audit.
• Strong foundation in Dutch GAAP and accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end close and audit coordination.
• Experience with VAT/Tax compliance.
• Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP/AR, purchase orders and financial controls.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and audit coordination.
• Ensure VAT/Tax compliance and accurate financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for the business.
• Prepare Investor and Board materials for stakeholder updates.
• Support Management on strategic finance topics, including funding rounds.
• Help design scalable Finance processes and ERP systems across eyeo.

The role of Finance Manager is a broad, hands-on role combining operational finance with the opportunity to help build and redefine our Finance foundation and contribute to broader strategic topics as we scale.

You’ll work closely with the CFO and team, external advisers and teams across the business. Finance is an integral part of the business at eyeo, supporting decision‑making and enabling growth across the organisation. There are no fixed handbooks or fully established processes to inherit. You’ll be part of building the Finance infrastructure needed for the next stage of eyeo’s growth.

• Accounting and financial administration across the Netherlands and Belgium, with the opportunity to expand your scope as we grow into new markets

• Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or audit
  • Strong foundation in Dutch GAAP and accounting principles, knowledge of IFRS is a plus
  • Hands on experience with month‑end and year‑end close, audit coordination
  • Experience with VAT/Tax compliance
  • Solid track record in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
