Job summary

MarvelX is hiring its first Finance Lead to build and own the entire finance function, from books and cash visibility to investor reporting and financial modeling. You will report to the COO and work with founders to implement processes fast and rigorously.

You’ll own day-to-day payments, bookkeeping, and financial models used in board meetings, with a focus on real-time burn and scalability across Europe and the US. This role offers equity and remote-friendly growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of finance experience and ability to own a function from day one.
• Proven financial modeling that informs decisions.
• Comfort with automation to reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, financial modeling, and board-level narratives.
• Manage cash flow, runway, and financial health across Europe and the US.
• Oversee payments, accounting, and coordination with external accountants.
• Own investor reporting, data room, and due diligence materials.
• Build and enforce spend governance as the company scales.
