Job summary

Andaz Amsterdam is offering a five-month internship in our Finance team, providing hands-on experience with daily workflow analysis, month-end reporting, auditing expenses, and accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing third-party suppliers. You will participate in finance projects and learn our financial systems.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in hospitality or finance-related study program.
• Hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Very communicative in English (and preferably Dutch).
• EU passport or valid working permit for the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance team with day-to-day activities: processing workflow analysis and optimization.
• Assist with month-end financial reports and auditing department budget-to-actual expenses.
• Work on finance-related projects.
• Be responsible for Accounts Receivables: sending invoices to third party companies and suppliers.
• Familiarity with financial systems: Opera, IScala, Micros and Birchstreet.
