Job summary

QuantWare BV seeks an experienced Accounting Governance & Reporting Manager to strengthen finance through better internal controls, clear guidelines, and high-quality management reporting.

The role combines governance, process improvement, reporting, and project work with Finance, Operations, Management, and Audit. A Big Four background and IFRS expertise are required for this growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Qualified CPA, CA, RA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience, including several years in a Big Four audit firm with at least 1 year at Manager level
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and international environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and practical guidance, ensuring consistent application of accounting principles across the organization.
• Provide guidance on new or complex transactions, support month-end and year-end closing, and maintain appropriate documentation for accounting judgments and policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and accounting specialists where required and contribute to a strong and effective financial governance framework.
• Improve the quality, consistency, and relevance of management reporting by establishing clear standards, templates, definitions, and reporting calendars.
• Lead or participate in finance transformation and cross-functional projects, translating business requirements into effective finance processes, controls, and reporting solutions.
