Job summary

nLighten HQ BV is seeking a Finance leader to own statutory accounting, audits, and tax compliance across all entities and jurisdictions. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will manage group audit governance, coordinate external advisers, and ensure timely filing of statutory accounts in a fast-growing PE-backed data center business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Big 4 audit-trained, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/RA or equivalent).
• Experience preparing or auditing multi-entity statutory financial statements.
• Experience managing external audit relationships and deadlines.
• Knowledge of corporate tax compliance processes across jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own statutory accounting and audit processes across all entities and jurisdictions.
• Lead group audit planning, governance, and reporting to the Audit Committee.
• Coordinate outsourced tax providers and ensure tax compliance across markets.
• Develop technical accounting positions and supporting papers (IFRS 15, IFRS 16).
• Support monthly reporting with technical guidance to controllers.
• Maintain and update group accounting policy in line with standards.
