Booking.com seeks a Data Governance Lead to shape and operate governance across the finance data estate. You will build data quality frameworks, ensure SOx-aligned controls, and partner with FP&A, data engineering, and analytics teams to deliver trusted data for finance decisions.

You will implement DQ checks, metadata management, and lineage, while embedding governance into platform modernization efforts and ensuring compliant, responsible use of AI across data platforms.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years in data management, governance, quality or related role.
• Experience applying compliance requirements (GDPR, ethical data handling, responsible AI).
• Hands-on with data cataloguing, lineage, and DQ platforms (Collibra, Monte Carlo or equivalent).
• Ability to design data quality dimensions, thresholds, SLOs and metadata management.
• Strong data storytelling to bridge business, data engineering and regulatory needs.

Responsabilidades

• Governance, Risk, and Controls: implement data and AI governance standards and audits.
• Data Quality Frameworks & Monitoring: define DQ dimensions, rules, thresholds, and dashboards.
• Metadata, Classification & Stewardship: maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage catalogs.
• Delivery & Stakeholder Management: lead end-to-end governance initiatives and communicate business impact.
• Hands-on Analysis & Community: profile data with SQL/Python and coach teams on governance topics.
