Job summary

Experis Group is seeking a Data Governance & Quality Lead to bring structure to complex data environments. You will define data ownership, definitions and quality rules while collaborating with engineers, project managers and stakeholders across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in program and project management, preferably in data governance, data quality or large-scale data transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of data management principles and governance frameworks.
• Experience with GDPR and ISO standards.
• Experience with process development and process improvement; Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
• Experience with BI reporting and data analysis tools.
• A strong affinity with technology and an engineering mindset.
• Experience within a technical, industrial, maritime or comparable environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good command of English, Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel or temporarily work abroad; EU nationality and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data ownership, data definitions, data quality rules and governance processes.
• Develop and monitor data quality rules and risk profiles to ensure data quality, consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, supply chain and other stakeholders to translate data requirements into definitions, documentation and practical solutions.
• Monitor data quality metrics and support data stewards in cleansing and improving data.
• Identify, analyze and mitigate data-related risks related to security, privacy and compliance.
• Ensure data governance and data quality processes comply with legislation and standards.
• Support and train users in identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Document processes, methodologies, definitions and findings.
• Contribute to process improvements and professionalization of data management.
• Stay up to date with new tools, technologies and methodologies in data governance and quality.
