Job summary

bp Rotterdam Refinery seeks a Finance Control Manager to lead on-site financial controls, reporting, and business partnership with operations. Based at the Rotterdam site, you will advise on Capex, Revex, leases, and complex transactions while supporting audits and quarterly closes.

You bring 10+ years in finance leadership, a Finance/Accounting degree, fluent Dutch and English, and a proactive mindset with strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance Control, Financial Accounting, Audit, or a similar leadership role.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication, both written and spoken.
• Experience in complex industrial, manufacturing, refining, or energy environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting per Group Accounting standards.
• Act as trusted finance advisor on accounting treatments, controls, and reporting.
• Support major capital projects, acquisitions, disposals and complex transactions.
• Identify risks and drive actions to mitigate them.
• Lead quarterly close activities and support audits.
• Partner with refinery stakeholders to improve processes and controls.
• Champion simplification and standardization of ways of working.
