Job summary

Sendcloud in Eindhoven is seeking a Finance & Business Analytics Intern to own real projects, blending finance and data while learning SQL, Python, and AI to shape shipping insights. The role is based at the Eindhoven HQ with a three-day-in-office schedule and requires a minimum of 5 months at 32 hours per week.

You’ll collaborate with FP&A and QBA teams, support forecasting, budgeting, dashboards, and automated financial processes, and gain hands-on experience bridging finance and data early in

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Finance, Business Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Affinity with data and hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A with forecasting, budgeting, and monthly management reporting.
• Collaborate with QBA on data analysis, automation and process improvements using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial performance.
• Help automate financial controls and reporting processes, reducing manual effort.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and technical teams to provide data-driven insights.

The Role

As our Finance & Business Analytics Intern, you’ll work at the crossroads of financial planning and data engineering — supporting real business decisions with solid analysis while getting your hands dirty with SQL, Python, and AI. You’ll collaborate closely with both our FP&A and QBA teams in Eindhoven, bridging the worlds of Finance and Data early in your career.

What you’ll do

• Support the FP&A team with forecasting, budgeting, and monthly management reporting
• Work with the QBA team on data analysis, automation, and process improvement using SQL and Python
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs to help stakeholders monitor financial performance
• Help automate financial controls and reporting processes, reducing manual effort
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and financial decision-making
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and technical teams to provide data-driven financial insights

Professionally

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Business Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field
• Affinity with data, and preferably some hands‑on experience with SQL and/or Python
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Available for a minimum of 5 months, at least 32 hours per week, based in the Netherlands
