Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Finance BPO Deal & Solution Lead to drive the growth of our Finance Operations and BPO across the Netherlands and wider Europe, with a focus on the Nordics. You will shape, qualify, and support large outsourcing opportunities, acting as the key interface between sales, solutioning, commercial, and delivery teams.

You will lead end-to-end solutioning, due diligence, and commercial support, translating client requirements into scalable Finance Operations

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, GBS, BPO, or related field.
• Proven experience contributing to or leading large-scale outsourcing pursuits with €50M+ contract values.
• Experience in business case development, operating model design, and solution development.
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes: R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Finance Master Data.

We are seeking an experienced Finance BPO Deal & Solution Lead to support the growth of our Finance Operations and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business across the Netherlands and wider European market, with a particular focus on the Nordics.

The role will be responsible for shaping, qualifying, solutioning, and supporting the closure of large-scale Finance Operations outsourcing opportunities, with the potential to provide subject-matter expertise during the initial stages of delivery.

As a key interface between sales, solutioning, commercial, and delivery teams, the Finance BPO Deal & Solution Lead will ensure that client propositions are differentiated, commercially compelling, operationally viable, and executable. The role will play an important part in accelerating the conversion of a growing strategic pipeline and strengthening our Finance BPO market position.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams to identify, qualify, and shape Finance Operations outsourcing opportunities.
• Lead client discussions, assessments, and opportunity discovery workshops to understand business challenges, objectives, and value drivers.
• Develop high-level business cases, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
• Assess opportunity viability, strategic fit, and prioritization.
• Shape opportunities from early-stage qualification through to a clear and executable deal strategy.

Solution Design & Due Diligence

• Lead end-to-end Finance BPO solutioning and detailed due diligence activities.
• Define target operating models, scope, service delivery models, and governance frameworks.
• Develop transition and transformation approaches, including key milestones, dependencies, and risk considerations.
• Translate client requirements into differentiated, scalable, and executable Finance Operations solutions.
• Collaborate with Digital Core, Supply Chain, industry, technology, and other functional specialists as required.

Commercial & Contracting Support

• Provide Finance BPO input into commercial models, pricing strategies, and overall deal economics.
• Support contract negotiations, service-level discussions, and the definition of appropriate commercial and operational commitments.
• Lead the development of compelling proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
• Partner closely with legal, commercial, finance, and delivery teams to identify and mitigate deal risks.
• Ensure proposed solutions balance client value, competitiveness, operational feasibility, and commercial viability.

Sales & Market Development

• Support multiple strategic opportunities and complex pursuits in parallel.
• Act as a Finance BPO subject-matter expert for account and sales teams.
• Coach account teams on Finance Operations value propositions, market trends, and outsourcing models.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of Finance BPO offerings, methodologies, and reusable assets.
• Build trusted relationships with client executives and key decision-makers.
• Support the continued expansion of Finance BPO capabilities and market presence across the Netherlands, Nordics, and wider Europe.

Capability & Talent Development

• Mentor and develop emerging solution architects and Finance BPO specialists.
• Help build scalable Finance BPO solutioning and deal capabilities within RP Finance.
• Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and development of reusable solutioning assets and methodologies.
• Support the development of a strong pipeline of Finance BPO deal and solutioning talent.

Job qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), BPO, Finance Transformation, or a related field.
• Proven experience contributing to or leading large-scale outsourcing pursuits, preferably with total contract values of €50M+.
• Demonstrated experience in business case development, operating model design, and solution development.
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes, including: Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Master Data.
• Experience supporting complex client negotiations, commercial discussions, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with experience engaging C-suite and senior client stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively across sales, commercial, solutioning, technology, and delivery teams.

Preferred

• Experience with Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Shared Service Centers, or large-scale outsourcing and transition programs.
• Exposure to SAP and Digital Core transformations, including the application of AI and emerging technologies within Finance Operations.
• Experience working across multiple European markets and with geographically distributed client organizations.
• Experience taking solutions from pursuit through transition and into initial delivery.
