Datasnipper seeks a Business Control Intern to join the Finance team and help leadership understand performance and trajectory. You’ll handle monthly reporting and prepare the board deck, with hands-on responsibility and an eye toward automating manual steps with AI.

You’ll monitor metrics, perform variance analysis, support monthly/quarterly reporting, and collaborate on growth projects, using AI tools to speed data pulls and reporting while building clean Excel models.

Formación

• Master’s in Finance or Accounting with strong academic record.
• Detail-oriented and organized; numbers checked before leadership.
• Comfortable working in Excel and building reliable models.
• Curious about how a SaaS business works and why numbers matter.
• Experience or interest in automating processes with AI is a plus.

• As our Business Control Intern, you’ll join the Finance team and work closely with the Business Controller. You’ll help leadership understand how the business is doing and where it’s going. As part of your work, you’ll handle monthly reporting on our financial performance and prepare the board deck for the management team. This is a hands‑on role with real responsibility, and you’ll also help us rethink how Finance works by automating manual steps with AI
• Monitor business performance and report on key financial and operational metrics (with a focus on ARR growth)
• Perform variance analysis between forecasts and actuals, and explain what’s driving the gaps
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including the board deck for the management team
• Help the Business Controller gather inputs for forecasts, making sure the data is accurate and relevant
• Work closely with the team on projects that drive business growth, profitability and operational excellence
• Streamline and automate existing processes using the AI tools available to you
• Internship duration: 6 months
• Start date: January, 2027
