Job summary

i+solutions is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Finance team in a broad, cross-functional role. You will ensure timely, accurate data and help manage payables and receivables in line with company standards, while supporting month-end closes and process improvements.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, implement new financial tools, and maintain internal controls. A Bachelor in finance or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education in finance or accounting, economics, or business administration.
• Knowledge of finance, bookkeeping, and accounting principles; AP process experience is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, AFAS would be a strong asset.
• Customer orientation and service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete and accurate data in a timely manner.
• Control accounts payable and accounts receivable to company standards; pay vendors per terms.
• Review and book invoices according to procedures and accounting standards.
• Handle and resolve escalated Accounts Payable issues.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Perform Month End Close activities.
• Prepare and submit documentation for internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in quality and productivity.
• Support other accounting team members.
• Participate in implementing new financial solutions and tool transitions.
• Manage a specific area of accounting (AR or AP) and perform assigned duties.
• Participate in reporting and analysis process projects.
• Continuously explore better ways to execute processes.
