Job summary

Medtronic Netherlands seeks a Financial Analyst to join the Rebates team within the Sales Finance Center of Excellence. You will partner with commercial and finance stakeholders to manage rebates, translate contracts into financial processes, and drive accurate forecasts and settlements.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance.
• 3–6 years of experience in finance/pricing analytics.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with an ERP system (preferably SAP).
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel, Access and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to manage and optimize the rebates portfolio, providing financial insights.
• Translate commercial agreements into financial processes by accurately capturing contract set‑ups within rebate functionality.
• Prepare forecasts and monitor customer performance versus target.
• Manage accruals, including assessing assumptions, risks and opportunities, and making adjustments.
• Ensure financial accuracy and control through balance sheet reconciliations and rebate balances analysis.
• Validate customer sales data for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare settlement calculations and support rebate settlements.
• Identify opportunities for standardization, automation and continuous improvement.

Join the Sales Finance Center of Expertise at Medtronic Netherlands, a fast-growing team of specialists at the heart of global sales finance. We support and coordinate critical financial processes across the sales cycle, including rebates, revenue recognition, new sales models, sales and product structures, sales incentive management, and sales reporting.

We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Rebates team. In this role, you will become a trusted finance partner to the business, helping ensure that customer rebate programs are accurately managed, financially sound, and aligned with business objectives. As a Financial Analyst, you will take ownership of key activities across the rebate lifecycle and work closely with commercial, finance, and other business stakeholders.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Partner with the business to manage and optimize the rebates portfolio, providing financial insights
• Translate commercial agreements into financial processes by accurately capturing contract set-ups within our rebate functionality
• Prepare forecasts and monitor customer performance versus target
• Manage accruals proactively, including assessing assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and making appropriate adjustments
• Ensure financial accuracy and control through balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of rebate-related balances
• Validate customer sales performance and volumes, ensuring the underlying data is accurate and complete
• Prepare settlement calculations and support the business through the rebate settlement process
• Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to standardization, automation and continuous improvement.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in finance
• 3-6 years relevant working experience in finance/pricing analytical area
• Perfect command of English, written and spoken
• Experience with an ERP system (preferably SAP)
• Advanced user MS Office (Excel, Access, Power Query).
