Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Field Technical Service Manager in Amsterdam to bridge science, business and customer needs in Animal Health. You will provide expert technical leadership for existing and pipeline products, translating veterinary insights into value for customers and the business.

You will collaborate with field teams and international partners, deliver technical content, and ensure compliance across promotional materials while driving strategic portfolio decisions.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree required with demonstrated ability to translate science to customer value.
• Experience in trial design and basic statistical understanding is preferred.
• Proven record leading large-scale business projects with measurable goals.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch; strong stakeholder communication.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and decision-making skills in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to field teams and customers through on-site visits, training, and troubleshooting.
• Translate scientific and production data into economic impact models to guide product strategy.
• Build and maintain external partnerships with KOLs and scientific communities.
• Develop and deliver technical content and training materials, ensuring product knowledge and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to review promotional content and ensure regulatory and legal alignment.
