Job summary

Innovate is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our client’s growing team in the South Holland region. You will assemble internal transport systems and bespoke machinery, install them at customer sites, check performance and carry out on-site maintenance.

The role requires a practical problem-solver who can work independently and travel within the Netherlands and abroad. You'll work mainly on customer sites with some workshop time, manage priorities calmly, and represent the company

Qualifications

• Completed technical qualification at MBO level.
• Experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
• Mechatronics knowledge is a strong advantage.

Field Service Technician (Mechatronics / Electromechanical / Electrical & Mechanical

We're recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and expanding specialist in conveyor and internal transport solutions. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a motivated, self-sufficient Field Service Technician to strengthen their team.

The role

In this role you'll be responsible for assembling internal transport systems and bespoke machinery.

Most of your time will be spent on customer sites, with some work alongside the team in the company's workshop in the South Holland region. You'll install systems, check their quality and performance, and make any adjustments needed to get them running as they should. You'll also carry out maintenance on existing installations.

The environment can be fast-paced, so you'll need to manage your priorities well and respond calmly to the unexpected. You're thorough and consistent with your administration, and you represent the company professionally whenever you're with customers.

What you'll bring

• A completed technical qualification at MBO level
• Relevant experience in a similar role within mechanical engineering
• Experience with internal transport systems and machinery is a plus
• Willingness to work both in the Netherlands and abroad
• A practical problem-solver who can improvise, stays calm under pressure and is assertive
• A valid B driving licence and VCA certificate
• Welding qualifications are an advantage
• Knowledge of mechatronics is a strong advantage
