Job summary

Syntegon Technology, Weert site, seeks a dedicated Field Service Technician to strengthen its service team. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair of specialized equipment at customer sites and the Weert facility, while diagnosing issues and guiding customers on operation and maintenance.

• Demonstrable experience in field service, equipment maintenance or technical support.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to analyse complex issues.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work at customer sites and the Weert facility.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic analyses to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with final assembly, testing, and commissioning of customer-specific machines and systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring understanding of operation and maintenance procedures.
• Document all service activities, repairs and maintenance work with precision.
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer feedback and identify improvements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards during on-site activities.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
• Analyse equipment performance data and provide optimisation recommendations.
• Provide induction and training support for new team members.
