Job summary
Qlayers are seeking a Field Service Engineer / Technician based in Delft with responsibilities on international projects. You will commission, operate and support robotic coating systems, diagnose issues and train operators while representing the company on-site and building strong customer relationships.
In addition to field work, you will prepare international projects, support operational planning, coordinate spare parts and assemblies, and provide remote support to teams and customers
Qualifications
- Technical education (MBO/HBO) or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical field.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Maintenance, or a similar technical field.
- Experience working with industrial equipment, machinery, automation, or field service activities.
- Comfortable reading technical documentation and troubleshooting systems.
- Good communicationskills in English.
- Able to travel internationally (30–50%).
Responsibilities
- Commission, operate and support our robotic coating systems.
- Diagnose and solve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
- Support maintenance and repairs together with customers and partners.
- Train operators and technicians on the safe and effective use of our equipment.
- Represent Qlayers on-site and build strong customer relationships.
- Document findings, service activities, and equipment performance.
- From the office: Prepare international projects, support operational planning and logistics, coordinate spare parts and assemblies, provide remote support to teams and customers worldwide.
