Job summary

Innovation Cluster Drachten in Groningen seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, configure and maintain high-tech sensing and robotic systems for the global packaging glass industry. You prepare installations, interact with customers, and provide user training and ongoing support.

You will travel approximately 30% of your time worldwide to install on-site or supervise installations from Groningen. A strong background in electronics, mechanics and IT plus a B driving license and Dutch/English

Qualifications

MBO+ level with focus on electronics, mechanics or IT.
Excellent Dutch and English communication.
Willingness to travel about 30% of the time worldwide.
Valid driving license B.
Resident in/around Groningen.

Responsibilities

From our office in Groningen you ensure proper preparation of the installation and maintain documentation.
At our customer you install independently per plan, or supervise from Groningen.
Teach users to operate our technologies and provide maintenance training.
Remain the point of contact for the customer, performing support and service.
Prepare reports and travel to customer sites as required.
